David Cameron Macadam has over 40 years of global experience in the retail sector, having held senior executive positions at regional shopping center development and management companies. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Senior General Manager at Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate LLC. Between 2007 and 2008, he served as Executive Vice President at Emaar Properties LLC, followed by his role as Director at Better Homes/Better Commercial LLC from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as Regional Director at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, and between 2020 and 2021, he served as Leasing Director at Msheireb Properties. Since 2021, he has been serving as Group CEO Advisor at Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co.
In addition, since 2013, he has served as CEO of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres and Retailers (MECS+R), representing more than 1,100 shopping centers and 1,200 retailers across the region.
