Nevzat Yavan serves as the COO of Esas Properties. A graduate of Marmara University, Faculty of Communication, Yavan has over 27 years of experience in the real estate sector. Throughout his career, he has specialized in real estate development, retail, and asset management; and has been involved in the concept development, leasing, operations, and asset management of more than 80 mixed-use projects and shopping centers across Turkey and various international markets. Yavan began his career holding management positions in shopping centers, then served as a senior executive at JLL for many years. He later became one of the founding partners of Mergen Asset Management. Since 2018, as the COO of Esas Properties, Yavan has been actively involved in the company's real estate development processes and in the value creation strategies for its existing investments. He is also responsible for the growth of Esas Burda Asset Management across Turkey and other international markets.
